Mother's Day Bouquet
Make some beautiful flowers for Mom this Mother’s Day that will last all year long! If you like this craft, check out our Snowflake Flowers - another great way to make some beautiful everlasting flowers.
What You’ll Need:
*Multi-Colored Tissue Paper – Mom’s favorite colors!
*Green Pipe cleaners
*Layer the different colors of tissue paper and lay flat. Draw a bone shape onto the paper and cut it out. We recommend cutting through as many of the layers at one time as possible. You’ll need about 10 pieces per flower, depending on how full you want it. Punch a hole through the center with a hole punch.
*Push the pipe cleaner up through the hole and bend slightly at the top to secure the paper from slipping off.
*Fan out the tissue paper pieces.
*Pinch the “petals” together from underneath and wrap the pipe cleaner around to hold in place.
*Fluff up the tissue paper petals and twist the pipe cleaners to make leaves.
*Take a moment to talk about what makes your Mom special. What are all the things that she does for you? What are some other ways you can show her how much you are all year long?
*Send us a picture of your kids and their bouquets we may post it to our site! firstname.lastname@example.org.
